Failure is the only way to grow

Life is too short to let our failures define us.  They may shine brighter than our accomplishments at times but that is only meant to distract us.  I truly believe that our failures are building blocks for tomorrow.  As humans; we are not perfect.  Life would be boring if we got everything right on the first try.  I also believe we are meant to fail; to fall short at times just to test our resolve.  It’s not a matter of if we fail but when.  It’s our choice what those failures mean to us.  Do they push us forward or hold us back?

Life isn’t always about getting things right the first time through.  Sometimes we need to figure things out the hard way.  Sometimes life beats us down just to see if we will get back up.

It’s not easy to get back up in those moments but it’s not meant to be.  It is what makes us stand out from the crowd.  I refuse to stay down regardless of how beaten I feel.  I will always have more to give until the day God calls me home.  Life is too short to give up.  Life is too short to let our failures cripple us when they are designed to make us stronger.  I have said it before and I will say it again; in the moments where you feel weak beyond measure, where you truly feel like you have nothing left to give, look around you.  Look at all of the people who rely on you to get back up and keep going.  You will find strength that you never knew you had in a special place in your soul.

Failure is inevitable.  Embrace the risk to fail with the desire to grow.

  1. You can only imagine those uneducated disciples of Jesus on Good Friday at 3 pm and their emotional disposition. Following a guy for 3 Years, promising and sometimes showing a new way of living and now he is dead. The beauty of our faith is that it brings Good Friday’s but also with strength and courage, Easter Sundays.
